Macon-Ford will run in National Championships
ST. LOUIS, MO - UHSP's Leah Macon-Ford has qualified and for the 2025 Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the official final rosters and entry lists for each event. Macon-Ford will be one of 28 entrants in the field for the 100-Meter Dash.
The UHSP speedster qualified for the event with an 11.84 which she ran on March 29 at the SLU Billiken Invite in St. Louis. Briana Campbell (Life University) was the top qualifier with a time of 11.45 seconds. Joy Abu of William Carey (Miss.) won the 2024 championship in the 100m dash with a time of 11.40 seconds.
The Championships will take place in Marion, Indiana at Indiana Wesleyan University with Macon-Ford expected to run on Thursday in one of the heats in the 100-Meter Dash. The prelims are slated to begin at 2:20 PM.
