UHSP JOINS KCAC IN MEN'S AND WOMEN'S LACROSSE

WICHITA, Kan. — University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (Mo.) will be joining the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) as an associate member in women's and men's lacrosse, the conference office announced Monday. The women's lacrosse squad will begin play in the conference in the 2022-23 school year, which will be their inaugural year, while the men's team will join in their inaugural year in 2023-24.
"I am ecstatic to be in a widely respected conference, the KCAC," Ashley Van Camp, UHSP's women's lacrosse head coach, remarked. "The conference provides opportunities for their players and staff. This will be a great conference for our team to grow and develop."
"Joining the KCAC is a terrific opportunity for both lacrosse teams at UHSP," Christian Diaz, the Eutectics' men's lacrosse head coach, said. "With a strong field of teams that have displayed years of sustained success and leadership that is dedicated to the facilitation and growth of the game, I am definitely excited to be a part of the conference and look forward to competing in 2024."
