Sullivan finishes as top Eutectic at Columbia Spring Invite

COLUMBIA, MO – UHSP competed in the Columbia Spring Invite on Monday and Tuesday and finished up in sixth place out of the seven teams in the field. Addison Sullivan took six strokes off her score from day one to day two and was the top Eutectic at 166 (+22) finishing tied for 11th overall. Pilar Ariaudo of William Woods won the tournament by one stroke over Ellie Soderholm of Columbia.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Harper Ready was the top Eutectic after round one with an 81. She shot a 91 on day two to finish at 172 (+28) and finished 17th. She carded a pair of birdies on day two.
  • Ella Penke went 93 and 88 to end up at 181 (+37) for a 23rd place finish. She had one birdie on each day. Penke finished up a wild four-day stretch coming off her trip to Kentucky and Tennessee on Saturday and Sunday as she competed for the UHSP Women's Lacrosse team over the weekend.
  • Sullivan had one birdie in each of her rounds over the two days.
  • Columbia won the team competition by 18 strokes over Lincoln.

UP NEXT:

The Eutectics will host their Spring Invitational on Monday and Tuesday next week. The tournament will take place in Madison, IL at Gateway National Golf Links.
