Penke, Kasting, and Sullivan Named All-Conference; Five Named Academic All-Conference

In its inaugural season, the Eutectic women's golf team took second place at the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Championships with three individuals earning All-Conference honors: Ella Penke, Samantha Kasting, and Addison Sullivan. Five UHSP athletes earned Academic All-Conference honors for women's golf.

Sophomore Ella Penke was named the AMC's Newcomer of the Year and earned Second-Team All-Conference honors. She finished the season with an adjusted scoring average of 86.9 after 14 total rounds, ranking seventh in the AMC. Penke has been a key member of the UHSP women's lacrosse team the past two years, and this year became a dual-sport athlete by joining the golf team.

Penke was joined by P3 graduate student Samantha Kasting on the Second-Team All-Conference list. Kasting landed just behind Penke in the AMC individual rankings and finished the season with a scoring average of 86.8 after 20 rounds. After a four-year varsity basketball career, Kasting became a founding member of the Eutectic golf team last season, competing as an individual for UHSP.  She was recently selected as UHSP's Women's Career Achievement Award winner for 2024-25.

Freshman Addison Sullivan received All-Conference Honorable Mention honors and was UHSP's representative on the AMC Champions of Character team. Sullivan was the top finisher for the Eutectics at the Conference Championships, finishing the season with a scoring average of 89.7 and an individual ranking of 13th in the AMC. She was selected as the Eutectic team's 2025 representative on the AMC Champions of Character team, which recognizes one athlete per Conference team who best exemplifies the five core values of the NAIA Champions of Character Initiative: Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership.

Penke, Kasting, and Sullivan were joined by freshmen Grace Wilkinson and Leah Macon-Ford as recipients of the AMC's Academic All-Conference award, recognizing varsity athletes for excellence in the classroom. At the 2025 UHSP Athletics Awards Banquet, the Eutectic women's golf team received the Team Academic Achievement award for the highest combined cumulative grade point average of all UHSP varsity teams.
