Woodard named top offensive player in AMC this week

The American Midwest Conference has named Jacob Woodard as the conference's offensive Player of the Week for Sept. 11-17. Woodard becomes the first-ever Eutectic to be named an offensive player of the week by the AMC. Alec Johnson (2021) and Armen Grigorian (2020) have also been previously named an AMC Player of the Week, but those were both on the defensive side.

Woodard aided the Eutectics to a 2-0 week with twin 5-2 victories. The Eutectics beat Blackburn on Wednesday with Woodard scoring two and helping on a pair and he had two more goals on Saturday in UHSP's win over visiting Kansas Christian.

The Eutectics are currently 2-3-1 on the year and Woodard is the club's leading assist man with three on the season. The University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to St. Charles to meet Division-I program Lindenwood. The Eutectics open AMC play after that on Saturday when they play at Missouri Baptist.
