Bio

Alexia Duncan joined the UHSP coaching staff in the fall of 2024. She is excited to bring her experience, passion, and leadership to the team and is committed to contributing to the program’s success on and off the court. She is a professional basketball player with four years of professional experience, entering her fifth season. A proud St. Louis, Missouri native, Duncan’s basketball journey began at the age of six, playing in the Emerson YMCA little league before advancing to competitive AAU programs.

Duncan attended McClure High School, where she excelled as a three-year varsity player and team captain, graduating in 2016. She began her collegiate basketball career at Blackburn College, playing for two years, before transferring to Missouri Baptist University, where she completed her collegiate playing journey.

After college, Coach Duncan signed with her first semi-professional team, the Midwest Sound, based in St. Louis, where she played for three years. She later joined the St. Louis Rebels, continuing her professional career. In addition to her playing career, Duncan is a dedicated skills development trainer, working with First Class, one of the premier AAU programs in St. Louis, for the past two years, helping young athletes reach their potential.
