Payton Burke, Women's Track & Field

Freshman Payton Burke is three meets deep into her collegiate career at UHSP. Her first meet took place just prior to Christmas with two more meets coming in the last three weeks.

At the Illinois College Snow Bird Invite on Jan. 20, Burke ran the 200M in 31.66 and the 400M in 1:13.07. Last weekend back at Illinois College for the Jim Green Invite, Burke shaved :03.27 off her time from two weeks earlier in the Women's 400M clocking in at 1:09.80 and finishing in 11th place overall. That time was also good enough to put Burke in fifth-place in the 400M in UHSP history taking over the spot previously held by Taylor Prusa (2016).

Burke and the Eutectics run in the Titan Open on Feb. 10 at Illinois Wesleyan ahead of the AMC Championships on Feb. 17.
